  DOGS..........They give us unconditional love and attention, and in return, it is our responsibility to make sure that they receive proper nutrition, shelter, and veterinary care. It's important to remember that dogs ARE NOT people, therefore, feeding "people food" is not what is best for your barkable companion.  There are human foods that are "good" or nutritious, and there are some that can result in fatal conditions such as pancreatitis, hemoylytic anemia, kidney failure, liver failure, and severe gastroenteritis.  Dog food provides a well-balanced diet and is good for their teeth and coat.  Don't feed your pet table scraps. They are high in fat and calories and can upset the nutritional balance your pet needs. If you feel you must give them food other than dog food, consult your veterinarian and make sure it is safe for your pet.
