Dr. Lisa Mauro:
Born in upstate New York.  Niagara Falls to be exact.  She completed her undergraduate work at UNLV.  She graduated from Iowa State University and received her DVM degree in 1995.  During veterinary school, she was president of the Student Chapter of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and was the recipient of the 1st Annual World Animal Care Foundation award.

Dr. Mauro's practice is limited to dogs and cats.  Her interests include small animal internal medicine, dentistry, ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, and physical rehabilitation.  She shares her home with her significant other, Randy, and her 4 dogs:  Stryker, Dylan, Macy, and Fanny.  Her pets are her life.


Dr. Amy Oliver: 
Born and raised in western Oklahoma.  She did her undergraduate work at the Community College of Southern Nevada, Louisiana State University-Shreveport, University of Colorado - Colorado Springs, Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State University.  She graduated from Oklahoma State University and received her DVM degree in 2005 .  She was president of the Student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Chapter (SVECCS), vice-president of the Alpha Psi Veterinary Fraternity, and an active member in the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association (SCAVMA).  She received the Pfizer Animal Health award for Excellence and Clinical Proficiency in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care.

Dr. Oliver has been practicing in Las Vegas since 2005 and her practice is limited to dogs and cats.  Her focus is on small animal internal medicine, emergency and critical care medicine, and soft tissue surgery.  She has a 13 year old Shepherd Mix one-eyed wonder mutt named Jacob, and 3 purrfect cats named Jackson, Mocha, and Gabriel. 


In Loving Memory, 

Dr. Mauro's beloved Jade and Stryker have passed away and Dr. Oliver's beloved Elsie has also passed away.
